Southern rock, New Orleans jazz, grunge, drone metal, and much more were all incorporated into this work. Nocturnal is the first full length album (LP) from Last Known Images. Keegan performed on and also produced this album. It is primarily an electronica and shoegaze album that also includes remastered and (very slightly) remixed bonus versions of the singles, "Annapurna" and "RAINBOW." Released just in time for the Halloween season. Features audio clips from the films Aliens and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Recorded from September - October 2019. A post-rock exploration into sonic textures and atmosphere. Inspired by true stories of one of the deadliest mountains in the Himalayas. Begins with a gradual build-up that expands into a fast-paced, percussive epilogue. The cover art for this single is based on a photograph taken by Maurice Herzog during his summit of Annapurna in 1950, the first documented "successful" summit of the mountain ... that left him missing most of his fingers and all of his toes.
